Kristina Belak, MD, graduated from the University of Rijeka, Faculty of Medicine, in 2013. She is a specialist in gynaecology and obstetrics.

She completed the compulsory medical internship at the Clinical Hospital Centre Rijeka. She subsequently worked at an outpatient clinic for tourists in Martinšćica on the island of Cres, and for two years she worked at the Istria County Teaching Institute of Emergency Medicine – branch office in Pula.

She began her specialist training in January 2017. She completed it at the Pula General Hospital and Clinical Hospital Centre Rijeka, and passed the specialist exam in September 2022.

During her training, she also completed the Postgraduate Specialist Study Programme in Gynaecology and Obstetrics, earning a specialist master’s degree in gynaecology and obstetrics.

From October 2020 to September 2023, she worked as an external associate at the University of Rijeka, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics.

She participated in numerous national conferences in the field of gynaecology and obstetrics as well as ultrasound diagnostics. She completed a postgraduate course in gynaecological surgery and endoscopy, with international participation.

Her main areas of interest include human reproduction, reproductive endocrinology, and minimally invasive surgery. At the BetaPlus Center, she is currently conducting subspecialty training in human reproduction.
