Prof. Dr. Branko Radaković is a gynecologist and infertiliy specialist who had worked at Petrova Hospital at the University Hospital Center in Zagreb. He had also been a professor and lecturer at the School of Medicine’s University of Zagreb since 1989.
Most of his clinical work has been in the field of human reproduction and infertility treatment. Since 1983, he has been a member of an IVF team that helped a couple conceive and bear a healthy child following IVF as the 6th team in the world. He has received his doctoral degree with the Biochemistry of Follicular Fluid and IVF Treatment Success Rates thesis in 1986. He has held the position of the Head of Infertility Department of Petrova hospital in Zagreb for several years.
He has acquired a vast experience in endometriosis treatment, treatment of gynecology and endocrinology conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome or menstrual cycle disorders, providing recommendations and advice on contraception use, menopausal medicine, use of endoscopic surgery (laparoscopy and hysteroscopy procedures) in human reproduction with his focus being on infertility diagnostics and treatment. Great success has been achieved while he was overseeing pregnancies, especially with women who have conceived following infertility treatments.
Prof. Radaković is the author of a series of expert and scientific articles published in prestigious domestic and foreign journals and of texts in graduate and postgraduate student books. He has lectured at many symposiums and conferences both home and abroad. In addition, he has lectured and headed several postgraduate studies. Being a member of European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology’s (ESHRE), he served as a Croatian representative in Executive Committee of ESHRE in the period between 2009 and 2011.
